Jose Pozo returns to fiction directing with Unusual Cowboys. The project is set in Texas, Wyoming and Montana. The script placed in the top-5 (drama category) of Final Draft 2020's prestigious Big Break, tells the story of two men who could have been good friends because of their passion for music, but are separated by a terrible tragedy. Plastic Killer, in the running for the Oscars 2023
With one month to go until the nominations are unveiled for the 95th Academy Awards, the Academy has announced shortlists in 10 categories. Plastic Killer, written and directed by Jose Pozo, is on the shortlist (Top 15) in the Live action short film category.
PLASTIC KILLER STARTS IT TOURS IN FILM FESTIVALS
Plastic Killer, written and directed by Jose Pozo, and starring José Mota, Laura Gómez-Lacueva and Elisabet Terri, will have its premiere in Spain on March 14, specifically at the Medina Film Festival, within the official section 'La otra mirada'. On March 18 it will be presented at the 25th edition of the Malaga Film Festival, in the official section out of competition.
CARIBE, ALL INCLUSIVE AT PRE-CANNES 2021
CARIBE, ALL INCLUSIVE by Spanish director García de la Calera will be presented at the online Pre-Cannes market on June 21 and 24. The film was shot between Madrid and Punta Cana in a comedy style, and features an international cast led by Cristina Castaño, Hiba Abouk, Alejo Sauras, Marc Clotet, Vicente Santos, Isaac Savinon and Terele Pávez.
Plastic extinction is just around the corner
Based on an original idea by Rafael de Mateo, Jose Pozo writes and directs the pilot episode of the TV series Plastic killer, an irreverent black comedy in which humanity is about to complete its fight against plastic. The stellar cast includes José Mota, Laura Gómez-Lacueva and Elisabet Terri.
THE BURNING COLD
Filming THE BURNING COLD, written by Agustí Franch and directed by Santi Trullenque, The film is an international co-production between RED NOSE PRODUCTIONS, FILMS DE L'ORIENT, TV3 with the collaboration of the Government of Andorra. Starring Greta Fernández, Roger Casamajor, Adrià Collado, Daniel Horwarth, Pedro Casablanc, Ksawery Szlenkier and Elisabet Terri.
MR. HAND SOLO, THE OVERCOMING POWER
On 30th July will start the principal photography of the documentary MR. HAND SOLO, directed by spaniard director Hector Romance. The story tells about David Aguilar, a young man who has built himself a robotic prosthetic arm using Lego pieces after being born without a right forearm due to a rare genetic condition.

'SOLO' AT HUESCA FILM FESTIVAL
SOLO will open the 46th edition of the International Film Festival of Huesca (Spain). The film starring by the winner of the City of Huesca Award, Aura Garrido and Alain Hernández will screen on June 8th, prior to its theatrical premiere at the Teatro Olimpia.
